Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing
PSIC Section A groups crop farming, livestock, forestry and fishing in the Philippines. Start here for rice farms, poultry houses, logging crews and aquaculture, then narrow to divisions 01, 02 or 03.B
Mining and Quarrying
PSIC Section B covers coal, oil, gas, ores and quarrying in the Philippines. Use it for extractive work, from small-scale quarry operations to mining concessions, before narrowing to divisions 05–09.C
Manufacturing
PSIC Section C is the manufacturing core of the Philippine economy, from food and textiles to electronics and vehicle assembly. It is the largest PSIC section and needs close sibling comparison.D
Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply
PSIC Section D covers electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply in the Philippines. It is a single-division section for utilities, generators and energy distribution activities.E
Water Supply; Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation Activities
PSIC Section E covers water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation in the Philippines. It spans utilities, waste hauling, recycling and cleanup work that manage environmental flow.F
Construction
PSIC Section F covers construction in the Philippines, from building contractors and civil works to specialized trades. Use it for on-site building activity before narrowing to divisions 41–43.G
Wholesale and Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles
PSIC Section G covers wholesale, retail and motor vehicle repair in the Philippines. It is the busiest BIR lookup section because it captures trading activity, distributors and repair shops.H
Transportation and Storage
PSIC Section H covers transportation, warehousing and postal activities in the Philippines. It spans land, water and air movement plus storage and courier infrastructure.I
Accommodation and Food Service Activities
PSIC Section I covers accommodation and food service activities in the Philippines. It includes hotels, resorts, restaurants, catering and food stalls across two divisions.J
Information and Communication
PSIC Section J covers information and communication in the Philippines, including publishing, telecoms, broadcasting, IT services and data processing.K
Financial and Insurance Activities
PSIC Section K covers financial and insurance activities in the Philippines. It includes banking, lending, insurance, pension funding and financial auxiliaries.L
Real Estate Activities
PSIC Section L covers real estate activities in the Philippines. It is a single-division section for property buying, selling, renting, leasing and management.M

PSIC Section M covers professional, scientific and technical services in the Philippines, from law and accounting to engineering, research, consulting and veterinary work.N
Administrative and Support Service Activities
PSIC Section N covers administrative and support service activities in the Philippines, including rental, staffing, travel services, security, cleaning and office support.O
Public Administration and Defense; Compulsory Social Security
PSIC Section O covers public administration, defense and compulsory social security in the Philippines. It is a one-division section used mainly for government and statistical classification.P

Activities of Households As Employers; Undifferentiated Goods-and Services-producing Activities of Households for Own Use
PSIC Section T covers activities of households as employers and for own-use production in the Philippines. It is mainly a statistical section rather than an ordinary business registration target.U
Activities of Extra- Territorial Organizations and Bodies
PSIC Section U covers extraterritorial organizations and bodies in the Philippines, including embassies, consulates and international organizations operating under special status.
